Spring Conference Special Update

The GOBHI Spring Conference is just days away and the GOBHI staff is looking forward to welcoming you to this year's event which is bigger and better than ever before.  With the attendance for this year's Conference nearing 400 and seven full educational tracks, complete with continuing education credits, you will not only have an opportunity to expand your professional network but also satisfy your ongoing educational requirements.

We have received an advisory from the Governor's scheduler that he is regrettably unable to join the Conference on Thursday afternoon as previously announced due to a unavoidable scheduling adjustment.  However, his Health Policy Advisor - Mike Bonetto, will be joining us to deliver remarks during the same time slot. Mike will be available to interact with attendees following his short presentation.

Thank you for your pre-registration to the Spring Conference.  We'll see you on Wednesday, May 16th at 1:00 pm at the Riverhouse in Bend.

CCO Workshop Luncheon Series

GOBHI has been proud to serve as a premier sponsor for the CCO Workshop Series featuring Dr. Bruce Goldberg of the Oregon Health Authority during the month of April.  If you haven't had the opportunity to attend one of the workshops, the final workshop will be hosted on Tuesday, May 15th, in Bend at the Riverhouse.  You can register your attendance below.  We look forward to seeing you in Bend.

The GOBHI STORY

Impacting Rural Oregon One Person At A Time

As Oregon moves toward healthcare reform starting in 2012, we aspire to be the designated Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) in rural Oregon and managing the full continuum of mental, physical and dental healthcare services. This is a great opportunity for rural Oregon to localize the broader healthcare field, reinvest in its communities and take care of the whole person.

Homegrown in rural Oregon, GOBHI has 15 years of experience in managing health care services in rural Oregon.

Our successful model of local and preventative care goes beyond the conventional approach to mental illness and helps build communities that are stronger and healthier. Our emphasis on proactive care means coordinating care by preventing problems from becoming chronic conditions.

Localized healthcare delivery lets our 17 rural counties mold programs that best fit their communities. Not only does this produce better outcomes but it is cost effective, dramatically lowering the cost of care per patient and returning the savings to communities through their local health care delivery system.

If our name, Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc., appears on your Medical Care
Identification form, received from the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP),
then you are eligible for mental health services through us.
