Foster children face many challenges; and one powerful way to support them is through creative journaling. Journaling offers a safe space for self-expression and emotional growth., and When paired with fun crafts, it becomes an engaging way to process feelings and build confidence. In this post, we’ll share creative journaling prompts and craft activities that foster parents can use to encourage self-reflection, creativity, and emotional awareness. A great overall tip is to start small with all of these prompts!

1. Vision Board: Dreaming Big for the Future

Journaling Prompt: "What do you dream of being, doing, or having in the future?"

Craft Activity: Create a vision board! Use magazines, paper, scissors, and glue to cut out pictures and words that represent the child’s hopes and dreams. This craft helps foster children visualize their future goals and aspirations.

Tip: Encourage them to keep their vision board somewhere visible as a daily reminder of their potential.

2. Gratitude Journal: Focusing on the Positive

3. Self-Discovery Journal: Building Confidence and Identity
