Oregon Advance Directive & Declaration for Mental Health Treatment

Thinking about advanced healthcare wishes for yourself or a loved one?
EOCCO's Advance directive online Training teaches you how to talk with loved ones about your wishes and choose a person to make healthcare decisions for you if you can't.
The free online training will help you:
Share your wishes with your loved ones
Remove the burden of making difficult healthcare decisions from your loved ones
Guide them in honoring your wishes
You'll also learn about Oregon's Declaration for Mental Health Treatment, a tool for sharing your wishes at a time of crisis.

Question, Persuade, Refer
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Also covered information about preventing suicide among older adults populations.
QPR can be learned in our Gatekeeper course. Choose from the one of the following three sessions that best works with your schedule.
We will also provide a special 2 hours session which will include a focus on the Veteran population

This year’s theme—Resilience, Perseverance, and Integrity—honors the values that peer workers bring to their roles each and every day. Whether you are a peer support specialist, recovery mentor, family support partner, or work alongside peers in the behavioral health system, this event is for you.
What to Expect:
Engaging keynotes and breakout sessions led by peers and professionals from across the state
Opportunities to build community, uplift voices with lived experience, and share tools that support personal and professional growth
Time to reflect, recharge, and recommit to the important work of supporting others
Location: Pendleton Convention Center, nestled in the heart of Eastern Oregon
Meals included: Two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner are provided with registration

🏡 Help Change a Life — Become a Foster Care Champion!
Eastern Oregon is in urgent need of foster homes for youth — and you can make a difference.
GOBHI’s Therapeutic Foster Care program supports youth involved with Oregon DHS Child Welfare by placing them with caring, trained foster families. We offer both full-time and part-time options, and provide all the support foster parents need to succeed.
Even if you’re not ready to foster, you can still help! ✨ Share the word ✨ Refer someone who might be a great fit ✨ Promote the power of foster care in your community
Together, we can build a stronger network of supportive homes for Oregon’s youth.

Program update - Triple P Parenting
Bring Proven Parenting Support to Your Community!Looking to offer a powerful, evidence-based parenting program? GOBHI’s Triple P – Positive Parenting Program offers flexible options to meet your community’s unique needs.
Classes are available in English and Spanish for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–18, led by trained and compassionate practitioners.
